I’m just one of the many faceless folks you see wandering around the world in search of good money, good food, good drink and in general good times. Not that we’re here to party by any means, but to experience life.

In the process of doing this, we’ve come across some interesting stories, and in the 50 plus years I’ve been on this planet, I’ve accumulated a pretty big storehouse of useless information, opinionated ideas, and probably more than a few misguided adventures.

By way of a more personal note, I’m a guy that grew up in the Midwest United States, wound up in California for a while, and then in China. Most of my adult life has been working in the shoe industry, although I’ve taken a few “wrong turns” and wound up in a couple of other ventures along the way, each of those contributing their own wealth of stories.

I’ve dealt with life, love, death, sickness, cancer, work, and play. I like to think this has brought about my irreverent take on things.
